Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) - Founded in 1929, JACL is the nation's oldest and largest Asian American civil and human rights organization with a 19,000 membership base.  JACL has 112 chapters nationwide, five regional offices, eight district offices, a Washington, D.C. office, and a national headquarters in San Francisco.  JACL's mission is to secure and up hold the human and civil rights of Japanese Americans and all Americans while preserving our cultural heritage and values.  The Las Vegas Chapter of the JACL (LVJACL) has been in existence since 1968.  It was originally named the "Japanese American Club" and became part of the National JACL several years later.  LVJACL also sponsors the Kaminari Taiko Group, the Japanese Dance Group, and the annual Bill Endow Scholarships, which honors and recognizes outstanding studen ts from JACL familes.  JACL members come from all races and cultures (Japanese ancestry is NOT required).

We believe that success and developemtn can be achieved by participating in these great social activities. Our participation will include Peruvian dances, food and Art.

It is the oldest and largest Italo-American Fraternal Organization in the USA. They support Scholarships Cooley's Anemia and birth defects, cancer research, and Alzheimer's research. We will be serving beef & sausage sandwiches, Italian beer and Italian ice and soda.
